NFDW Midwest Regional Meeting
March 15-16, 2013
Hilton Garden Inn
Kansas City, Kansas

February  18, 2013

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen of the Federation and Democratic Friends,

This is the official call to the NFDW Midwest Regional Meeting to be held in Kansas City, Kansas, and hosted by the Kansas Federation of Democratic Women, whose President is Marge Zakoura-Vaughan.  Attached are a welcome letter from the ladies in Kansas, outlining some of the details, and a registration form that needs to be completed and sent right away!

As stated on the registration form, the event will take place at the Hilton Garden Inn in Downtown Kansas City, Kansas, on March 15-16, 2013, starting with a reception at 4 PM and other evening activities, then the meeting will commence at 9 AM on Saturday morning, following the breakfast at 8 AM.  The meeting should end by 3 PM, and then I think the Kansas ladies have some other fun activities for Saturday evening that they will tell you about at the meeting.

State Presidents, during the business meeting, you will be asked to give a brief report.  Please include how many members and clubs you have in your state and any other pertinent or exciting news you might have to share.  Also, could you please have a written report to accompany this report.

We will be discussing our reception we usually host at the NFDW convention, and how to do it this year, along with discussing costs, location, etc.  In the past, we have asked each Federated state to contribute $100...maybe we need to look at that a little closer.  I will have more information for you on it with some proposed options we can discuss at the meeting.

If you think of anything that should be on the business meeting agenda, please email it to me so I can place it on the agenda for discussion/vote.

I know the Kansas ladies have been working hard to show off their wonderful Sunflower state, I am looking forward to seeing all of you at this meeting.  This will be a great opportunity for us to share ideas and strategies for working together to help our President, Barack Obama, and his administration, to fulfill his hopes for moving forward in this country!  Come to have good times, good laughs, and to be in good company!

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call me at
(816) 792-1334
 or (816) 520-5617, or Marge at (316) 684-3256 or (316) 210-4171.  See you soon!!

With warm regards,

Charli
