These emerging leaders are making a meaningful impact through their work in politics, public service, advocacy, and their local communities. The program celebrates their achievements while highlighting the next generation of women who are shaping the future through their commitment, vision, and leadership.
What is NFDW’s 40 Under Forty?
The NFDW 40 Under Forty program celebrates the outstanding achievements of emerging Democratic women leaders under the age of 40. Each year, 40 exceptional members are selected through a nomination process in recognition of their leadership, service, and commitment to strengthening the Democratic Party and their communities.
A committee of National Federation of Democratic Women members carefully evaluates nominees based on their accomplishments, leadership experience, community involvement, and dedication to advancing Democratic values and empowering others through public service and civic engagement.
The NFDW 40 Under Forty program honors the next generation of Democratic women leaders whose passion, vision, and commitment are making a lasting impact at the local, state, and national levels.
